Hey, long time - no entry. Let's change that.
Wondering why I didn't post something for quite some time? Well, I've been travelling around, enjoying my spare time (no job means more spare time, hooray). For the first time since 6 years, I'm really able to go whereever I want to go and to do whatever I want to do. Somehow it feels, as if I'd just turned 18 (again).
I've been to the
Taubertal Openair a few weeks ago and besides the weather, which really and literally pissed me of, I had a great time. Bands like H-Blockx, "Die Aerzte" and "Wir sind Helden" were really worth their money and once again I noticed, that one should rather visit their concerts than buying their CDs.
Soon after this festival, I packed my backpack again and left for the
KDE World Summit 2004, also known as aKademy. That was probably one of the most-fun events, I ever attended. It's really hard to find another bunch of such talented and cool people. We've mostly been hacking all day long and went to bed
after breakfast. Finally I was able to meet the other
amaroK developers personally and I'd just like to say "thank you" to Markey, Max and Bochi: Great time with you guys, I really hope we all meet for a few more beer again, soon.
Right now I'm in Landau, visiting Nicole, writing this blog-entry with her super-cool Apple iBook. I fell in love with this little, shiny white PC - and hey: you could even install Linux. I should really try to get one at eBay.
See y'all soon!
