DJ Tomekk is quite known to us since 1-2-3 Rhymes Galore and his coproductions with Lil' Kim. Since the Galore style is rather cool and I really love the track, I was considering myself as a Tomekk fan. His later productions (e.g. Kimnotize and Ganxtaville) still got the beat, but Tomekk becomes ridiculous when you're going to listen to the lyrics.
The other day, Georg found a nice track named Wanxtaville. You can get it here. I'm not going to talk much about it right here, since I don't wanna get sued.
Just download it, listen to it, and hey: That's a diss! Eminem, be careful

If life had a switch, I'd like to program a timer to 8 am. Then go to bed and rest.

Holidays are over.
Anyways, as the headline already mentions, it's the Feel Good Time for me. Today I noticed that only 8 days are left till my birthday, which on the other hand means, that we're heading to autumn and winter already. Half the year is gone, I'm getting older again and still, neither I nor anybody else I know seems to get the meaning of life. Maybe just nobody does? Who cares, I'm feeling good right now.
So what's going on the next days? Monday, I'll be back in my office and already I do expect a lot of work for me lying around. The day before my birthday, I'm invited to a traditional comedy show by my relatives. For my birthday itself there's nothing special planned anyway - maybe a long sleep, getting a drink with some friends of mine and meeting my relatives. Seems like a pretty messed up day with lots of appointments and less time to me.
Get yourself Pink's new song "Feel Good Time". Work's out for me

I was surfing around searching for some new eyecandy / xmms plugins. I stopped at Nebulus. Pretty cool graphics and one of the best xmms plugins I've ever seen, so it's definitely worth a "look-at".
Just four final notes:
- Music recognition sometimes seems to work, sometimes seems to be ignored at all.
- More Nebulus visualizations!
- At 1600x1200 the CPU usage still isn't really measurable.
- rocks.

Just found some more information about my monitors on the net. I was able to configure my XFree86 with two monitors and the following resolutions:
- 21 inch monitor: 1792x1344
- 19 inch monitor: 1600x1200
My fonts are of course quite small, but I'm just too much in love with all that desktop space. Beside that everything looks neat, in position and eh geeky
What else to say? I started appreciating the sound of "The White Stripes". Sounds like good old times, which reminds me, that memories could be worth so much more than most things on earth.
Am I really so old?
I'm drifting away...

with a new 21" monitor. It's a good ol' CRT ( Hewlett Packard P1110) with a Sony Trinitron tube (means really flat) and a maximum resolution of 1920 to 1440. I'm running it with 1600 to 1200 at nearly 100Hz.
Cool
Short feature list:
 - 21" FD Trinitron® CRT
- 19.8" Diagonal Viewing Area
- Digital Multiscan® Technology
- 0.24mm Aperture grille pitch
- HiDensity Electron Gun
- 1880x 1400 @ 85Hz. Resolution

Just shortly after Linus has changed his employer to get some more kernel development time, he already released a 2.6-test1! This is great news and in his announcement posting he also clarifies, that the progress till the final release 2.6.0 should not be as time-expensive as the 2.4.0 development was (7 months, actually).
Let's go testing. Hopefully I get the NVidia card running with OpenGL.
have fun,

Author: Norrie
Subject: Duty Roster
Memorandum
From: Bin Laden, Osama
To: All Al Quaida Fighters
Subject: The Cave
Hi guys. We've all been putting in long hours, recently, but we've really
come together as a group and I love that! However, although we're
fighting a jihad, we can't forget to take care of the cave, and frankly I
have a few concerns:
1) Hygiene: It's good to be concerned about cruise missiles, but we should be
even more concerned about the dust in our cave. We want to avoid
excessive dust inhalation, (a health and safety issue), so we need to sweep
the cave daily. I've done my bit on the cleaning roster - have you? I've
posted a sign-up sheet near the cave reception area (next to the halal
toaster).
2) Videos: It's not often I make a video address but when I do, I'm trying
to scare the shit out of most of the world's population, okay? That means
that while we're taping, please do not ride your scooter in the
background,or keep doing the 'conga' thing. Thanks.
3) Food. I bought a box of Dairylea recently, clearly wrote Ossy" on the
front, and put it on the top shelf. Today, two of my Dairylea triangles were
gone. Consideration. That's all I'm saying.
4) Conduct: I'm not against team spirit and all that, but we must distance
our-selves from the Infidel's bat and ball games. Please do not chant "Ossy,
Ossy Ossy, Oy Oy Oy", when I ride past on the donkey. Thanks.
5) Graffiti. Whoever wrote "OSAMA F**KS DONKEYS" on the group toilet wall,
It's a lie, the donkey backed into me, whilst I was relieving myself at the edge of the mountain.
6) Chickens: The use of chickens is strictly for food. Assam, the old excuse
that the 'chicken backed into me, whilst I was relieving myself at the edge of the mountain will not be accepted in future. (With donkeys, there is a grey area.)
7) Vigilance: We've had reports that there are Western soldiers, in
disguise, trying to infiltrate our ranks. So, patrols will be set up to look
for them. First patrol will be Omar, Muhammad, Abdul, Akbar and Dave.
Finally, I'm sick of seeing 'Osama - Bed Linen' scribbled on my laundry bag.
Cut it out, it's not funny anymore!
Love you lots, Group Hug. Os.

Sad, but luckily some extra-features for developers were found out. At least something.

Yesterday, 10 people of our company decided to play soccer on a court near to the office. First of all, I was amazed of playing soccer since I had one year of inactivity. After three hours playin' and one short night, I'd like to reconsider. My legs are burning, I can't move my knees and the only feeling I'm able to sense is pain.
What's happening today? I'd like to go shopping and have some food at Subway. Someone wanna join? You have time to phone me, while I'm trying to walk to our entrance door
